The Executive Health Care Leader Track of SVSU’s Master of Science Health Administration &
Leadership program is designed specifically to meet the educational needs of busy physicians, advanced practice providers and administrators in health care. This program will provide health care administration skills to complement clinical experience in preparation of health care executive positions.

Necessary skills include those to:

• Navigate within the health care reform journey
• Perform business and analytical skills
• Comply with regulatory and legal requirements
• Discuss electronic health record benefits and analytics
• Understand healthcare finance, budgeting and payer complexities
• Assess benefits associated with Emotional Intelligence & Change Management


The benefits of this program include:

• Continuing Medical Education requirement fulfillment 
• Online and hybrid delivery with four Saturday meetings per semester for hybrid courses for
  greater flexibility
• Cohort format with priority course scheduling
• Simplified application process with waived application fee
• Approximately $13,031 per year, which includes tuition, fees, books and meals 
  during Saturday meetings
